One thing I do strive for, is becoming a better photographer; whether taking classes, reading books, or just taking a LOT of pictures - practice makes perfect (well, in a digital world you can come pretty close)! Betterphoto.com is one of my favorite websites that offers a wealth of information and knowledge for photographers of all skill levels. I have taken online classes from this website and have 'met' a lot of talented photographers from all over the world. I take their advice and critiques to heart and appreciate the feedback I receive on my photos.

Several of my photos have been entered into a monthly contest at Betterphoto.com, some of the categories include: People, Travel/Place, Catch All, Macro Photography, Digital Dark Room, Pets, Flowers and of course, Monthly Theme. Tens of thousands of photographs from around the world are entered daily into this contest. I have had several of my photos been selected as "Editor's Picks" and have had a few make it through as a finalist for these contests - an accomplishment I am very proud of.
